Hourly Comics Day is an annual tradition among cartoonist who document their day by making a short comic for every hour they are awake each February 1st. Book of Hours collects fifteen years of hourly comics, following me as I move across the country to attend graduate school, take an internship at a comics studio, accept my first teaching appointment, and finally land in my current hometown where I teach comics as an art school. Together they serve as a record of my development as an artist, but also as a person building a life centered on comics.
