This week’s preview of Hic & Hoc‘s unsolved mysteries anthology is from Box Brown. I’ve been a fan of Brown’s work since way back in his Bellen! days, and it’s been a pleasure to watch his work and career grow over the past few years. His contribution to the anthology is an interpretation of Deuteronomy 21, which explains what to do in the event of an unsolved murder.
In addition to producing his own great work, Brown is also behind Retrofit Comics, a small comics publisher that has been producing old school-stlye floppy comics from some outstanding artists. I just read Flocks by L. Nichols the other day, their most recent release, and it was terrific. If you haven’t already, go check out their store to find lots of fantastic comics.
I’m going to continue to post previews of the anthology on Tuesdays, so stay tuned for more! Also, come on back here on Thursday to read the next part of my newest comic, The Unusual Death of Gregory Biggs.
