I am excited to announce that in a few days, I will be leaving the country to join a group of SCAD students in Tokyo, Japan for an off-campus program affiliated with the Sequential Arts department. We will be visiting museums and temples and other notable sites around Tokyo for the next two weeks, including DisneySea, the Ghibli Museum and Ueno Park. I am so excited! I’ve never been to Tokyo before, so it will truly be an adventure. It will be a ton of fun exploring the city with friends and fellow graduate students Jerald Lewis II, Phil Milley and Chaz Moneypenny, as well as the rest of the students on the trip and a few professors. I anticipate posting a few updates here when I returns including photographs and sketches from our trip. Maybe even some comics.

Because I will be traveling for the next couple weeks, I may not be able to update this blog as frequently as I might like. I promise I will make up for it with lots of fun posts about Tokyo so please, be patient!
